My secret weapon for getting into "laser mode" isn't another expensive subscription.

When I need to do deep work, the Pomodoro technique is my go-to. But finding the right tool to support it without distractions or a paywall can be tough.

That's why I'm loving Ambie. It's a brilliant Open-Source app that combines a clean focus timer with ambient sounds (rain, cafe, etc.) to create the perfect concentration bubble.

It's beautifully designed, comes with a fair freemium model, and is a testament to what the open-source community can build.
