OSPO Roadmap Changelog

Everything that changes in the roadmap is recorded here, in the open, for everyone. Members and anonymous visitors see the same history. Most recent changes appear first.

Two things never change once a node ships: its identity and your saved progress. When a node is renamed or moved, your tracked status stays intact. Only a genuine content change, a node added, retired, or materially revised, is a substantive entry below.

How to read this

• Added: a new node now exists. It starts as Open for everyone.
• Retired: a node was removed. Its identity is never reused, and any progress you had against it is dropped. Nothing else is affected.
• Revised: a node's guidance changed in substance.
• Moved or renamed: position or wording changed. Flagged for transparency, but never affects your saved progress.

2026-09-14: Launch

The roadmap goes live: a Foundation entry plus four jobs (Governance & Standards, Legal & Compliance, Technical Oversight & Security, Community & Ecosystem) across three maturity stages (Getting Started, Formalization, Scaling). The full public map is available from day one so the whole structure is open to feedback. In-depth member guidance begins with the Foundation steps and expands from there.
